  • My apologies, but if you think children praying in school actually has anything to do with keeping crime rates low, you are idealistic to a fault. There is a lot more that goes into raising well-behaved, responsible, good children and praying isn't one of those things.

  • How are atheists forcing their beliefs on you? How is the absence of a prayer on a wall affecting your ability to believe what you want and practice your religion? A person can pray anytime, anywhere, silently to themselves. Or they can go to church or to their homes, etc and participate in a group.

  • "holy matrimony" is a religious term, not a legal one, which is what the whole gay marriage issue is about and religious superstition cannot dictate the law.
